Not what I expected Apr 22, 2010 Although the product advertises it is for 5th generation it did not recognize my IPod. It couldn't hook up with my 5th generation docking adaptor and when I hooked up without it the message kept saying that this product does not have charging capabilities. I sent it back after talking to customer service.

Pretty good Mar 05, 2010 Got it fast and it works good. Charges the ipod and plays music through the speakers. Not the greatest sound quality, but it wasn't expensive either. Good buy for what we were looking for.

Wasn't what i thought Feb 24, 2010 I bought this because it looked compact and the best i could find, that i could afford at the time, and it stated that it supported 4th Generation I pod Nano.
As soon as i connected it, my screen lite up and said will not support this device. I was disappointed. The sound was decent, u just have to adjust your sound settings on your I pod settings so u don't get too much static.
Sorry wasn't to happy with it.

What a piece of crap. Feb 19, 2010 Wow...this thing is just really horrible. I wanted portable speakers to use at my desk at work. It worked great for about the first month and then it was downhill from there. My biggest problem is with the buttons. All 3 (power, volume up & volume down) have all gotten 'stuck' in some way. The power button is stuck at an angle...so to turn it on or off you might have to try to pull the button up...or shove it down...it's always a gamble. Worst part is that you have to hit it EXACTLY right for it to actually stay on. It's very fickle and will turn off and on by itself...sometimes I have to just hold my finger on the power button for 10 seconds and slloooooowwllyy take it away and hope that the iPod Gods are with me at the moment so I can listen to my music.
Now on to the volume buttons...ohhh my favorite. Both of these are stuck compeltely in the down position. So you aren't really 'pressing' the button when you want it up or down...you touch it and hope that it triggers the right wire to make it go up or down. BUT sometimes you touch it slightly and the music BLASTS and sometimes you can press it all day and the volume won't adjust at all. Great for a croweded work place, huh? Even better, the faulty wiring makes it so that 80% of the time when I press one of the volume buttons, the entire thing shuts off. Sometimes if I hold the power button (or maybe pull it depending on the day) while tapping the volume button...it will shut on and off about 10 times and then WAH-LAH! it may work....but then I can't touch it again or else it might shut off again.
Needless to say, I wish I had spent these $20+ precious dollars on forks to poke my eyes out because this product has caused me so much frustration!!!
not so good Jan 31, 2010 I was never able to get the speakers to work properly... I finally sent it back for a refund after trying it with 2 IPods...
