Good choice for convenience Jul 26, 2010 Another reviewer noted that this input device does not require amplification. That's a good point. I had already bought a different audio to USB connector that did require amplification of the signal. This item is really just much more convenient. It provides access for your audio and, if like my pc all the inputs are in back of the tower, the cord makes it much easier to plug in from the front.

Not Windows 7 Compatible Jul 16, 2010 Nowhere on the product description does it say it's not Windows Vista or 7 compatible. A big sarcastic "thank you" to Amazon for not telling us what it's compatible with.
This thing is really great! Jul 12, 2010 I haven't tried recording from a tape deck with it yet, but I'm using it with Seinnheiser PC151 headset, and it works very well! It's so convenient to be able to use the USB port for audio and mic! It's a great little gadget!

iMic2 - Great May 26, 2010 I am using this to convert lectures from cassette tapes to my PC. I downloaded Audacity to use with iMic and it is all very simple. I am very pleased with the quality of the copies and how easy it is to use.
