1Don't waste your $$$  Jul 14, 2010
Don't waste your time or money with Griffin or any of their products. I've given their products several chances and every time they've let me down. Constant static and eventually after only a few months, quit working altogether. Maybe I've just had bad luck but I'm done with their products.

3WORKS WELL  Jul 06, 2010
The one that I recieved wasn't the one that I ordered. My daughter broke my first one that I had which was the best one I have used so I ordered a new one. I didn't want one of the newer models with smartscan. But instead of getting the all black ones pictured I recieved one of the black and silver ones with smartscan. The reception is just as good but the overall design is bulkier and it will randomly change channels on me sometimes. I am mostly satisfied with the product but again, it is not the model I ordered. It does however charge my iPod Touch and my old one didn't.

4I miss my old one  Jul 04, 2010
I bought a Griffin FM tuner about two years ago.
I was cleaning out my car one day and lost it. Who knows if it's in my house somewhere and I didn't search hard enough BUT I have to leave town in a few days and I didn't want to be stuck listening to the radio.
(My car doesn't have a CD player....)

In any case, I received my Griffin iTrip in record time and didn't hesitate to try it out.
It works well and the audio quality is just like my old one.

My only gripe with this FM tuner is that you have to constantly keep it plugged in for it to work. I have a GPS and that also has to be plugged in to my cigarette lighter. I guess on long trips I have to decide between a working GPS and some good music.
If someone knows how to get it to work without it being plugged in to my cigarette lighter, I would be grateful.

1Useless piece of equipment  Jul 02, 2010
The charger works fine but sound quality is so bad you might as well plug in a set of cardboard speakers from the 99cent store. Shocking!
