No way to adjust the sound quality Feb 23, 2010 Personally, I don't recommend the JBL on state micro. The sound is tinny and there is no way to adjust for more base, which is needed.
Ipod speakers with great sound at a phenomenal price!! Aug 22, 2009 Got these as a birthday gift for my daughter. They worked very well at the surprise party we threw her- you know how teens have to have their music!! So easy to use, small, portable and cool-looking. Great price, fast shipping, everything I expected!! Thanks!!!
Distortion weakens an otherwise nice product Aug 15, 2008 This speaker system has many nice connection and navigation features but the sound is inferior to even a pair of cheap 20 dollar ipod speakers I have. I am returning them in the morning. Too bad, I had high hopes for them. I would listen to these before I bought them.

Lives up to its name, Jun 18, 2008 I bought the On Stage Micro after the crappy ipod alarm clock I won in a drawing at my office's cafeteria died. that unit was only a couple of months old. Think it was called an iHome or iMole or some similarly named brand and, when played, sounded compressed, flat, and as though it was playing at the bottom of a well. but, hey...it was free.
This little unit is by far the most impressive of it's kind (at least of the 3 or 4 different brands/models i've heard). The sound is crisp and warm. Within hours of its arrival, I listened to everything from Sly and the Family Stone and Parliament/Funkadelic to Metallica, Miles Davis, The Flaming Lips, the Roots, Kool Keith, Buena Vista Social Club, Talking Heads, Hendrix, the Beach Boys and Daft Punk (and more) trying to find some kind of sonic limitation to it. I couldn't.
The On Stage Micro truly lives up to its name. For the price, I don't think you'll find another unit that can match it.

pleased Feb 28, 2008 Great portability and the sound quality is very good for the size. So far would recommend this product for travel and situations where electricity is not readily available. Like the feature controlling the iPod using only the remote.
