The portable speaker is very small and has great sound, especially for the money. It's a great value. I enjoy listening to my IPOD using the speaker. I bought it for travel, but now use it at home!

JBL Portable Speaker Dock for iPod is a good value.
The sound is surprisingly good for such small speakers.
It has a remote control which is nice to have.
I am very happy with my purchase.

I am very impressed with the sound of the JBL speaker. The small size and round shape is what attracted me and I love the remote control and even using the manual controls is so easy. My friends are also impressed with the JBL speaker!

-lightweight & ultra-portable = super-convenient
-amazingly low price
-surprisingly robust, deep sound
-cute, perfectly functional little remote
-A/C adapter is included (as of June 2010)
-auto-off kicks in when running on batteries
-ok to leave rechargeables in when using A/C adapter

Con:
-evil Houdini-proof clamshell packaging

I love, love, love this little speaker dock. Can't beat the convenience, and the sound for its size and price is great.
