It's okay Jun 30, 2010 It looks really nice! The blue lighting is a nice touch. I like that it charges my iPod Touch (first generation) except that I have lost the white plastic adapter/stand things so now there is a constant buzz at low volumes when playing my iPod. The remote is pretty worthless and for the price it should be a lot better! I haven't used the radio at all but I like how there is a CD player. The system sounds great - doesn't get nearly as loud as my computer speakers that can play my iPod but I think the quality of sound is decent. After trying a couple different iPod docks and returning everything until I purchased this at Target I am overall happy with this purchase except for the remote..
Despite poor reviews, I took a chance and am very pleased! Jun 24, 2010 Before I purchase various items, I take the time to read User Reviews. In this case, I nearly passed up on this great little CD player! The reviews for this product were awful including people claiming tinny sound and poor durability (including many who said it completely stopped working after one month). Well, I don't know how other people have treated this product, but I've had it for a few months now and have not experienced any problems. Sound is great. It's easy to operate. It's got a compact and neat design. And, if you read the reviews for Bose products, people have loads of complaints including problems with installing CDs into the unit --- and these people paid many, many times over the cost of this Memorex unit. I was NOT disappointed in the performance of this item at all and would indeed recommend it to others.
90 Day Warranty? May 04, 2010 Stay away from this product! Like others, I had this unit for 5 months before the sound went out. I called Memorex support who told me to reset the unit by unplugging for 30 minutes. They said if that did not work, I should take it to a local electronics repair shop (we all know the economics of that). The warranty is only for 90 days and, from what I have experienced as well as other reviewers, that is how long the product is designed to last.

Overall pretty good! Jan 25, 2010 We've had this for about a month now. We use it mostly to play CDs and are pretty happy with it. We like the size, which is fairly small. Yet the sound quality is pretty good.
The only negative is that it does not work with our old (~2004) ipod. The ipod will dock, and if it was playing a song you can hear the song and change the volume. But you can not control the ipod with the buttons on the unit and it doesn't charge.
It does work fine with our much newer (2008) ipod classic.
We're happy enough it to consider buying another one. My daughter has a nice Sony, but it's MUCH bigger. So when we sent her off to school we may get her one of these.

Great!...until the sound goes out. Jan 11, 2010 I bought this Memorex Ipod Dock at Target about a year ago for around $100. At first, it was great. Great sound, (decent, nothing to get excited about), it was able to get pretty loud without becoming muddled and I liked how it allowed you to change the base and treble levels. The greatest thing about this product is that it had the CD player, ipod dock, and radio all in one, which made it unbelievably convenient.
HOWEVER, I turned it on yesterday morning only to find that, quite simply, the sound doesn't work anymore. I've never been rough with this or anything and I'm surprised it didn't last over a year. There goes $100 down the drain.
I would recommend getting a speaker system instead. One that you can use for your computer and also plug it in your ipod headphone jack. Most of the time their cheaper, sound better, and more versatile. Logitech sells some great sound systems for a great price, well under what this cost with more bang for your buck. I definitely won't ever go back to this or recommend it for others. I don't think I'm going to go back to Ipod Docks in general. Complete stereo systems are the way to go unless you are wanting to go for portability.
