1Only One problem  Jul 02, 2010
It stopped working immediately. Well, almost immediately. It worked at first, otherwise I wouldn't be able to say it stopped. But after less than 10 minutes, it stopped showing images.
Sound quality was fine though.
Enjoy
Rob

3Does this work with iPhone and iPod?  May 18, 2010
I am trying to find out if these work with iPhone and iPod's? How do they connect? Thanks

1DO NOT BUY, RECHARGEABLE BATTERY ISSUE  Apr 03, 2010
As per the many other customer reviews with the same problem, my pendant battery now will not charge. Its just past the warranty, the company does not offer a new pendant on their website that I can see. In the past when they did it was an extra $100 plus shipping. So, be aware if you buy this your "rechargeable" battery is likely to die and you will get NO use out of the glasses other than as a paperweight since there will be no way to replace the batteries even if you wanted to.

5Amazing, futuristic product -- just a few strange issues.  Jan 05, 2010
I don't know why so many of the reviews here are negative, but I had pretty much nothing but a positive experience with these. They're very comfortable, weigh almost nothing, and are very straightforward to use. Build quality seems superb, and very little even needed to be tweaked out-of-the-box.

There were two little issues I had, however. They aren't severe. First, do NOT expect documentation in the box. It includes a little "Quick Start Guide"... but none of the pictures are clear, helpful, or even labeled. If you want an actual manual, you have to download a .PDF from their website. (And it's not even where the Quick-Start Guide says it is on the site, you have to find it in the sidebar.)

The other is that it has an extremely odd way of letting you know that the battery is dying. First, the power light on the pendant will start to alternate between orange and blue, but you're likely to be looking /into/ the glasses, so why would you see that? And after a few minutes of that, it does something that made me think it was broken the first time I encountered it. The screen slowly fades to *white* -- not black, but white -- and starts to glitch up very violently. The device is unharmed by this, but you're likely to be scrambling for your warranty information by the time you figure out that the only problem is that you haven't plugged it in lately. Cosmetic, but it's still a fright!

Anyway, it works perfectly, aside from those little gotcha's. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to feel a little more immersed in games or movies.

P.S: It doesn't support non-interlaced component signals. In English, this means that old game consoles (NES/Genesis/Master System) or even /emulations/ of old game consoles (like the Wii's Virtual Console service) will make the display turn off with a little pop of color. It's not obvious, so don't get these if all you want to do is play Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt with them.

1What a piece!  Jan 02, 2010
Had this for one day. Went to wipe off the right lens and put them on just to find out some how the screen was distorted. I don't even how or why this would effect the product by wiping the lens but it did?? I only used enough pressure to get the smug off and it was defect from there?? I wouldn't waste the money if I were you.
