5Super duper fast delivery but ridiculously bulky packaging  Dec 18, 2008
These headphones are amazing! I currently use Sennheiser studio headphones for my Roland electronic drum kit and knew I could trust them to make a quality pair for my phone. The answer/disconnect button isn't compatable with my phone or something else is wrong, but it is still worth the money. I have received compliments on the microphone quality, especially in situations with obnoxious ambiant noise (e.g., Chicago's elevated El train).

My biggest complaint. They were shipped in a box big enough for an Oxford dictionary; way unnecessarily large and wasteful. Company's need to help in the conservation of resources just as much as individual consumers do.

5Very good sound quality  Nov 19, 2008
I want to first start off by saying that I'm not an audiophile by any means. Generally I'm happy with cheap headphones I can get from Wal-Mart or some similar store. I got these headphones for my Katana Dlx and wow, I didn't realize what I was missing. I enjoyed the sound from my previous headphones but then I compare my cheap pair to these (to me these are expensive) it's a world of difference. Sadly I returned these because the in-line button did not work with my phone and because I could just get a cheaper pair that does the same thing I figured I would do that because I'm not huge into audio. I still think it is a high quality headphone set.

Pros:
1. Sound quality is notably different (possibly because of the in ear design) and you can hear the bass, something my other headphones lack.
2. Block out other noises very effectively
3. Long cord so it fits in your side pockets of your pants fairly easy
4. People could hear me clearly (a problem I was having with bluetooth)

Cons:
1. For me I thought that the blocking of sound made me hear myself too much when talking so it was distracting at times.
2. The in-line button didn't work with my phone but that can vary

Overall I recommend this for those looking for a good quality sound for a cell phone when listening to music or making calls!!

2Promiced to match my needs perfectly BUT  Oct 01, 2008
the excellent sound came from only the left side and I dont think the mic worked either. My advice is to keep the packaging in case you have to return it. I did not and was out $50.

4Not for iphone! requires an adapter for 3.5mm jack!  Jul 09, 2008
This one has a 2.5mm jack and so won't fit on an iPhone; you require a 3.5mm male (that fits iphone!) to a 2.5mm female adapter to use with iphone. Other phone that have 2.5mm might be ok.
Sound quality and fit is quite good. The supplied earphones never fit my ears and keep falling, while Sennheiser's products seem to fit my ear well (plus there are 2 more pairs of earplugs for bigger/smaller ears).

4A quality headset  May 09, 2008
The sound quality on the Sennheiser MM50 is crisp and clear. You can hear even the subtle sounds that add real depth to your music.
The ear pieces fit comfortably in the ear. With the three different sizes provided, it's easy to find the one that fits best.
The call quality is great as well. The people I called said I was coming through loud and clear. The inline microphone could use a little more cable length between the mic and the earpiece on the left side. If not clipped up high on your collar it can pull a little as you turn your head. It's not really a big deal though.
The system works well with my Blackberry 8830. The 90 degree connector fits and works well, even while the holster.
I have even used this while cutting the lawn. The design of the earpiece did a good job of blocking the noise, and providing a good listening experience. I don't think you will be disappointed.
