These lil' earbuds rock! Apr 09, 2010
I really don't get all these negative reviews. I own three pair of these little earbuds, and I love the deep sounds they create, and that they come with three different size cushions to place on the end of the buds. I haven't had any problems with reliability either, as my first pair work just as good as my latest pair!

For normal use, which I use in conjunction with my Blackberry Storm, these little bad boys create good sound, with a lot of range.

Overall, great bang for your buck!

I love these earbuds! They have very good sound quality and they are very loud, meaning that I have my mp3 player on low all the time now (great for battery life).I have not noticed any distortion in the sound quality at a louder setting but I cant handle keeping them in my ears that loud. They come with additional sets of plugs that go in your ears and in different sizes so you can find the one that fits you best. The second attribute of these earbuds that stand out is the durability. I usually go through a set of other earbuds in about 2 months. The ink'd earbuds have lasted me over 5 months maybe even 7, I cant remember it was so long ago, and they are still working great. I have even purchased the same ones for when my current set breaks (if they ever do). Also, something about these cords seam to get tangled less then others I've owned which is a nice plus. And lastly don't wrap the cord around your device, it will kill any set of earphones no matter how much you payed for them.

Great sound quality...with a problem. Oct 21, 2008
I've owned two pairs of these headphones but will not own another. I will buy Smokin' buds from Skullcandy next time, but whatever. These headphones have great sound quality (I know what I'm talking about, I care a lot about quality) especially for the fact that they're only $15 from a store like Target. But they have a problem. Unless you take extremely good care of them and don't mess with them too much, one of the speakers can go out very fast. My second pair went out about three weeks after getting them, and my first went out about 4 months. I don't recommend them for that reason. It's not the speakers is the wiring, so save your money and get a different pair, although if you can take EXTREMELY good care of them, then get them, great for the price.

Good For Workouts, But Average Sound Quality Oct 04, 2008
I bought my set of Skullcandy Buds Ink'd Earbuds to satisfy a specific need. The headphones that came with my SanDisk Sansa Clip fall out of my ears when I jog so I was looking for an inexpensive pair of in-ear earbuds in order to have a more secure fit.

I knew I would likely be compromising some on sound quality, and that turned out to be the case with the low end on these only reaching 20 Hz. This is not always noticeable, but I could really tell when listening to Enemy by Days of the New. The opening baseline was almost inaudible. This only happens on specific songs, and I wasn't looking for top notch sound quality for my workouts anyway. The music is a distraction to help pass the time.

However, these did solve the problem that I was having. I am using the medium ear pieces, and the earbuds fit securely yet comfortably as well. I have not had them fall out a single time in over a month, and they are comfortable to wear for easily 90 minutes at a time.

All in all, these are good earbuds for a very specific use. If you are frustrated by your headphones falling out of your ears while working out, these are for you. However, if you are looking for top notch sound quality, you should pass on these.

Don't know what the negative reviewers are talking about. These fit my ear perfectly, the sound quality is amazing, and I am writing this review in the middle of a crowded auditorium with the headphones in and people talking all around me, and my volume level is as low as it can go and I can hear perfectly.
