 Great product; great value! Oct 31, 2009
I read the one star reviews and I did not have any problems with my device and I feel bad for those folks. For the price this is the best Ipod dock/speaker setup I have used. The sound quality is great. I use the alarm every day and it is awesome to have my music to wake up to. The standard ringer works great too. I have just bought a second one to put in my office; I have grown tired of moving it between there and my bedroom. The remote is also very handy.

This product is compact and easy to use, even parents. The buttons are user friendly, and the speakers are excellent for such a small unit. The sound quality is great, as well as the timed alarm with snooze control. There are no problems docking an iPod. A great little product to have.

Great item with one exception the alarm. The escalating alarm is annoying.the snooze delay is too long. Turning off the alarm isn't the easiest thing to do either.

 Never Could Get Product to Work Aug 31, 2009
Would not recommend this product. Got it working for about 5 minutes after bringing it home, then as I attempted to set alarms, all buttons stopped functioning. Tried new batteries, had a friend who is great with gadgets try resetting it, nothing. Buttons also poorly designed and can see how they would be an issue if using it for an alarm clock. For the few minutes I had it working, the music sounded good, but the inability to adjust the volume due to the failure of any of the controls to work had me very frustrated. Very disappointed.

It just stops working after days or weeks. Aug 30, 2009
Don't waste your money on this unit. I bought one in May, and in mid-August, it just stopped working. It wouldn't respond to any button you pressed (volume, radio preset, play, pause, etc.) All buttons just stopped working.
Amazon sent me a replacement unit about 6 days ago, which worked fine until this afternoon, when, once again, the same symptoms reappeared. Buttons no longer work.
Quality control, or perhaps even basic engineering, is substandard. I'd be suspicious of any product from iHome.
