 Works with iPhone 4!! Jul 09, 2010
I am happy to report that my iPhone 4 will charge and play music on this unit! I guess I took a gamble and this one paid off. The best part of this unit is that I will be able to stream my iTunes library through the line in port in the back with an Airport Express Base station!
I haven't had time to play with the iHome unit itself except to set the clock and alarm. The unit appears to have been well constructed. I will post an update as I get more use out of it.

 IHome Alarm: feature rich- quality POOR Jun 29, 2010
I purchased this for a Christmas gift 6 months ago. It sounds great and at first I was very impressed with the unit. Then random alarm malfunctions started popping up after about 3 months. Coincidentally just after the warranty period. This seems to be a recurring theme as I read through the reviews. First, the iPhone would play songs as planned. Then only one or two songs would play and the alarm would start beeping. Finally just the alarm would sound and the iPhone would no longer play despite the settings to play. The controls are less than intuitive but manageable, the sound is very nice for such a small unit. Of course, $95 is a lot to basically rent this unit for 6 months as I will have to go out and buy something else. I will NOT be buying anything from iHome again as this is my 3rd disappointing experience with their products. It's unfortunate as they have innovative products but horrendous quality control. Maybe a bit of pressure from these types of reviews will make then take a second look at that.
 Great sound and easy to use Jun 03, 2010
I bought this iHome and an iPod for my 88 year old mother on Mothers Day. My Mother listens to audio books downloaded to the iPod. Since the iPod controls are hard for my mother to see - I bought the iHome. It has been a GREAT purchase. Mom can control her iPod easily and listen to her books, without any help. The sound is great. The lights on the iHome - make a great night light. Normally Mom doesn't listen to the radio, but I bet she will be tuned in when college football is on this fall. Overall we have been very pleased with this purchase. Great buy for the money.
Great IPod Dock/Clock/Radio May 25, 2010
I recently purchased this item for my wife's birthday. She had been wanting one for some time now, actually the model HiH60B, but that one is made for hotels and can only be found at hotel supply stores in bulk (minimum purchase of 6 is what I found). Anyway, I bought this for my wife, she loves it, sounds great, the sleep function is awesome (now if only they would incorporate relaxing music and nature sounds into this item it would be perfect). The one flaw I have found with it, it states on the iHome website that this item comes with a universal power supply rated 100-240v 50/60Hz, which it does not. We are moving to the UK soon and need the 240v/50Hz in order to use this. So I had to go to RadioShack (the only place that seems to carry universal power adapters rated over 500mA anymore) and spend an additional $38 on an adapter that will work while we are staying in the UK.\
Other than my minor issue, which was actually the selling point for me, this item is great, works very well. If you are going overseas anywhere, make sure you get a power adapter rated for the voltage and hertz of the country you are visiting before you fry the power supply.
4/5 stars for me, would be a 5/5 if it incorporated the nature sounds and relaxing music, and actually came with the universal power supply.
Easy way to charge your iPhone May 19, 2010
My alarm clock was dying and I always forgot to charge my iphone - and the iHome iP99BR has turned out to be an easy way to do both. Setup was easy, charging is simple, the controls are intuitive, and the alarm wakes me up. No real complaints at all.
I don't ask a lot of the dock - since I don't use this as a primary audio source - but it does what I need it to do. The only real complaint/comment is that I wish the time display was larger (remove the large date display or provide an option to do so) so that I could read it better at night/without glasses.
