 Broke within 6 months Jul 16, 2010
First the CD part stopped working and then the ipod drawer stopped. I talked to the company and they only offer a 90 day warranty! They wanted $35 and me to ship it to get it fixed.

The CD lid broke soon after purchase. Then the ipod tray stopped working after that. Would not buy this or this brand again!

I love this purchase, I can listen to my CD's, my IPOD and the radio. Now I am old school so, I still have cassette tapes. If there is an invention that could play all of the above including cassette tapes........whoa I am sold already on the thought.

Overall this player works fine. Don't expect too much from it. The sound quality is good, but if in a noisy area it can get hard to hear, at least that was my experiance. I had no problems with the functions, there was some static noise on the radio and ipod mode, I have not used cd yet. Overall, it's a great player for what you pay for.

This unit is good looking, sounds okay, is easy to use, plays CD's and MP3's; however, the radio antenna is mounted to a plastic base that looks like metal and it snapped off almost immediately. I felt bad, so my husband put on a new antenna from an old radio. Then the weird stuff began: it drained eight C-cells in 3 weeks even though I never play it on battery power; it freezes up sometimes and the buttons become non-functional and you have to unplug it; it shows one station in the display but is actually receiving another one; it loses the radio pre-sets if you leave the cord plugged into the back and not into the wall (even with batteries installed). Design-wise, the huge handle gets right in the way of the cheap, tiny antenna and the CD door is always popping open and jamming against the handle and the antenna. The iPod dock door is also always popping open when you don't need it. I got a replacement, thinking the first one was a "lemon" but the second one is exactly the same. I am returning both units.
